Description1
The unique formulation, combining a high paraffin content with a humectant, helps to soften skin and retain moisture
- Contains 13.2% white soft paraffin forming a protective barrier on skin surface and decreases transepidermal water loss (TEWL)
- Contains 10.5% light liquid paraffin replacing lost skin oils, increasing skinsurface lipids (SSL)
- Contains 4.5% glycerin (humectant) attracting and holding water in the outer layers of the skin and compensates for reduced levels of Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF) in diseased and older skin.

Not all emollients are the same. Read more about the potential for ocular toxicity in an article published by Eye, on Nature’s website.
Whilst contact with the eyes should be avoided1, the Cetraben range has been scientifically validated as being non-irritant to the eyes2, with no reports of causing ocular toxicity, and is suitable for use on both the face and the body.3
